Job Information
The position will involve meeting visitors at the office, handling incoming telephone calls, following up on leads, arranging and carrying out viewing appointments, negotiating sales and undertaking administrative duties.
The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience in estate agency or a sales environment, excellent communication skills, good local knowledge, enthusiasm, good administration and computer skills, be smartly presented and have their own car for appointments and a full driving licence.
Hours
Four weekdays - 9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday – 9:30am – 3:00pm
Sunday - off
Job Description
Sales Negotiator
Salary and commission based on experience.
The below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role with the company and the overall business objectives of the company.
Role Specific
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by telephone, email and post.
- Liaise with clients and applicants to arrange viewings on properties.
- Carry out property viewings.
- Give feedback from viewings to vendors.
- Maintain applicant database ensuring all information is up to date.
- Generate and book Market Appraisals for Sales.
- Assist in the preparation of properties for marketing
- Take offers on properties and negotiate sales.
- Mail and ring out new properties that come onto the market and when they are reduced.
- Assist with the day to day administration of the Sales department.
General
- Engage with all clients effectively based on their situation, needs and which services we are providing or offering.
- Excel with your knowledge of our properties and the local area and use this when dealing with clients.
- Be confident about every aspect of our services for Sales and Lettings.
- Create positive working relationships with clients in order to build trust and rapport.
- Open and close the office
